Two things make a storefront look like yours rather than like a template: the logo across the top, and the colour on its buttons and links. Both live in one card.
Your logo and browser icon
Go to Settings → General. The first card, Store Identity, holds your store name, your Shoponent domain, your description, your logo and your browser icon.

Choose Edit on that card. The logo and the favicon each get an upload box: drag a file in, click to browse, or choose Choose from library if you have already uploaded it under Files.

- Store Logo is shown as your brand across your storefront and in emails to customers. A wide file with a transparent background works best, because it sits on your header rather than in a box.
- Favicon is the small icon in a browser tab. Leave it empty and your logo is used instead. It is shown very small, so a single letter or a mark reads better than a full logo. About 32 by 32 or 64 by 64 pixels.
- Both accept JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP, up to 10 MB.
Choose Save Changes. Your storefront picks the new logo up within a few seconds.
Your brand colour
The brand colour sits in the same card, under the logo. Choose Edit, then either pick one of the swatches or type a colour code into the box beside them.

One colour is all you set. Your theme builds its whole palette from it: buttons, links, accents and the shades around them are worked out for you, and the contrast is checked so text stays readable on every one of them. Fonts and spacing come from the theme and do not change with the colour.
Save Changes publishes the new colour to your live storefront straight away, with no further step. The note under the control says the one thing worth knowing before you press it: your theme is re-applied in your new colour, so layout changes you made in the storefront editor are replaced. Your menus, your policy pages, your About and Contact pages' words, your home page hero's words, image and buttons, your "Powered by Shoponent" choice and your logo are kept. If you have never opened the editor, there is nothing to lose.
The colour can also be set in two other places, and all three write the same value:
- The Set up your branding step on your Home page, while that row of the setup checklist is still open. See Set up your branding.
- The dialog that applies a theme, under Online Store → Themes, where Brand colour (optional) sits at the bottom of the confirmation. Leaving it blank keeps the colour your store already uses. See Choose a theme.
"Powered by Shoponent"
Your storefront shows a small Powered by Shoponent line after its footer. Whether it does is up to you, on every plan: the card under Store Identity has one switch, Show “Powered by Shoponent”.

It saves as soon as you switch it, and your storefront updates within a few seconds. The same switch is in the storefront editor, under Footer → Footer bar, on Professional and above. Applying a theme or saving your brand colour keeps your choice.
If it does not work
- The logo uploaded but the storefront still shows the old one. Refresh once; a storefront page is cached for a few seconds. If it persists, check you chose Save Changes rather than leaving the card in edit mode.
- The file is rejected. It is not one of the four types above, or it is over 10 MB. Export a smaller PNG or JPG.
- The logo looks cramped or sits in a white box. The image has its own background. Export it with a transparent background, or with the same colour as your header.
- The colour box is empty even though your storefront is tinted. The card cannot read back the colour your storefront is using, only set a new one. Pick the one you want and save; what you save is what your storefront shows.
- You wanted to clear the colour rather than change it. There is no way to clear it: leaving it empty keeps the colour you already have, which is what makes previewing a theme safe. Set it to the colour you want instead.
- You changed the colour and some parts of the storefront did not change. The colour drives buttons, links and accents. Fonts, spacing and any colour you typed into a section by hand in the storefront editor are separate, and stay as you set them.
- The Powered by Shoponent switch is greyed out. Your storefront has no theme yet, so it has no footer. Choose one under Online Store → Themes first.
