Is there a free trial?

Not during beta. Instead, you get beta pricing: up to 50% off, locked in for 24 months. The free trial opens to everyone at public launch, but beta pricing won't be available again.

What is beta pricing?

Create a store and subscribe it during the beta, and that store pays up to 50% below the standard price right away. Its beta rate then stays locked for a full 24 months from public launch, so the time you spend with us during beta is discounted on top of that, before the 24-month clock starts. Every renewal within the locked period stays at the beta rate, not just the first. When it ends, the plan renews at the standard price in effect at that time, and we'll give you notice before any change. Beta merchants also get a direct line to the team for support and feature requests.

Does beta pricing apply per store or per account?

Per store. A Shoponent account is free and can hold several stores (or none), and each store has its own subscription. Every store you create and subscribe during the beta locks in its own beta rate, so if you run more than one store, each gets the beta deal as long as it's subscribed before public launch.

What does "beta" mean for my store?

Shoponent is live, and merchants are running real stores on it today: core selling, payments, inventory and orders are stable for everyday use. Features marked "Soon" on the plans are on our near-term roadmap and aren't available yet. We're actively building, so you may occasionally hit a rough edge, and as a beta merchant you get a direct line to the team to report anything and help shape what we ship next.

What happens when the beta ends?

Nothing changes for you. Any store you subscribe during beta keeps its locked rate for a full 24 months from public launch; only stores subscribed after launch pay the standard price.

Can I switch plans later?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade a store at any time, and changes take effect on its next billing cycle. If you switch a store's plan during the beta, its discount carries over, so you'll pay the new plan's beta rate and the 24-month lock continues.

What payment methods do you accept?

Subscriptions are billed securely via Paystack, so you can pay with your card or by bank transfer. Enterprise customers can pay via invoice.

Are there any hidden fees?

No hidden fees. The price you see is what you pay, and optional add-ons (extra staff accounts or locations) are priced upfront before you buy them. Standard payment processing fees on your storefront sales are charged by your payment provider, not Shoponent.

What happens if I exceed my product limit?

There are no product limits on any plan. All plans include unlimited products and orders.

Do you offer discounts for annual billing?

Yes. Annual billing already costs less than paying monthly, and during beta the annual price is 50% off the standard annual rate, the deepest discount we'll ever offer. You can switch to annual billing from your store settings at any time.

Can I add more staff accounts or store locations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every plan's staff and location counts can be extended with add-ons, billed alongside your subscription: extra staff accounts at ₦800/staff account/month (or ₦7,680/staff account/year (20% off)) and extra store locations at ₦4,000/location/month (or ₦38,400/location/year (20% off)). You can buy them any time from your store's billing page.
