Founder pricing

While the founder window is open, a new store pays the founder price for its plan and keeps that price for the founder period, whatever happens to the standard price in the meantime. The window's closing date, the period, and the prices are on the pricing page, which reads them from the same place the sign-up does.

How the lock works

• It is taken on the day you subscribe. The founder price is written onto your subscription at that moment. If the standard price of your plan changes afterwards, your renewals do not.
• It follows you between plans. Changing plan while the lock runs takes the founder price of the new plan, not its standard price.
• It ends when the founder period ends. From then on you pay the standard price for your plan at the time. You are told before it happens.
• There is no trial while the window is open. The plan page shows Pay now rather than Start free trial, because the price is paid from the start.

After the window closes

A store that subscribes after the closing date pays the standard price and starts on the free trial. A store that subscribed before it keeps its lock; the closing date changes nothing for it.

If it does not work

• Your renewal shows a different amount from the one you locked: email us with your store name and the date you subscribed. The locked amount is on your subscription and we can read it back.
• Start free trial is not offered: the window is open. Pay now is the path in.
