A flash sale changes what products sell for, for a window of time, and gives the whole thing a name and a page you can put in an advert or a broadcast. It is different from a discount, which takes an amount off an order.
Flash sales are on Professional and Scale; see the pricing page.
Marketing → Flash Sales lists yours, with the window, the pricing, how many products are in it, and whether it is Scheduled, Live or Ended.

Create one
New flash sale asks for:
- Name: it appears on the sale's own page and on the product page while the sale runs, so write it for shoppers.
- Description and Hero image: optional, and both are for the sale page you will be sharing.
- Starts and Ends: the window. Before it, the sale is Scheduled and nothing changes; after it, prices go back by themselves.
- Percent off: applies to every product in the sale that has no price of its own.
- Allow coupons on sale items: off by default, so a coupon does not come off a price you have already cut.

Choose what is in it
Add a product to the sale puts a product in. Pick a specific variant to give it an exact sale price; a product added without a variant takes the percent off across all of its variants.

That split is deliberate: one price typed across variants that do not cost the same would be wrong for most of them, so an exact price belongs to a variant and the percentage is the tool that spans them.
Choose Create sale. Nothing is charged differently until the window opens.
What shoppers see
- On the product, the sale price with the old one struck through, and a note naming the sale and when it ends.
- On the sale's own page, every product in the sale. Copy sale link on the sale's row gives you that address for an advert, a post or a broadcast.
- The price in a basket is the price that was in it when they added the item. A sale ending mid-shop does not re-price what somebody is already holding.

Ending one
A sale ends itself at the time you set. To stop one early, use End now on its row: prices go back immediately and its page stays up, saying the sale has ended, so an advert somebody clicks tomorrow still lands somewhere sensible.
Delete removes the sale and its page entirely, and a link already out in the world stops working. Ending is almost always what you want.
If it does not work
- The sale price is not showing: check the window has started and the products are actually in the sale. A Scheduled sale changes nothing yet.
- A shopper says their basket still has the old price: it does, and that is deliberate. Prices are fixed when an item goes into a basket.
- A coupon will not apply to a sale item: that is the default. Tick Allow coupons on sale items on the sale if you want both to work together.
- Two sales include the same product: the shopper gets the lower price.
- Your plan changed: a sale already running keeps running and keeps its prices; creating and editing sales needs Professional or Scale.
