Your Shoponent domain
Every store gets a free Shoponent domain, such as yourstore.myshoponent.com, from the moment it is named. You can change it under Settings, General, but the old one stops working the moment you do.
Connect a subdomain
Putting your store on something like shop.yourbrand.com takes exactly one DNS record. We watch for it, issue the certificate ourselves, and it renews without you.
Connect a root domain
Putting your store on yourbrand.com itself takes three records, brings www along on the same certificate, and needs a provider that can point a bare domain at us.
What each record status means
Every DNS record you add reports its own state: Verified, Record present, Incorrect, Not found or Can't check. Here is what each is claiming, and which of them are yours to act on.
